Abstract

Storage systems play an essential role in intralogistics, whereby there are many different solutions. The creation of cycle time models for throughput calculation in the planning phase of a storage system is an important part of the scientific consideration of such systems and is intended to be accelerated with the help of the systematics presented in this paper. This systematics should enable a description of the basic structure and function of each storage system and will subsequently be used for the au-tomated creation of cycle time models.
