Basic requirements for publishing articles in the Logistics Journal
The journal features contributions on technological as well as operational aspects on material flow in industry, distribution and services. It focuses on mechanical design, planning and control issues, and operation of single machines or complex systems, taking IT, interfaces and outside processes into account. Primarily, it deals with the intralogistics area.
A narrow local limitation of the chosen subject area leads to exclusion if a transferability of the methodology is not recognizable. In addition, only articles of civil logistics are considered (no military content). Politically motivated text contributions and those that directly or indirectly advertise will not be published.
Indexing of the Logistics Journal:
Logistics Journal is indexed in Scopus.
Reviewed or non-peer reviewed
You're allowed to publish scientific articles in the Logistics Journal in different ways.
By submitting your articles as "reviewed articles" you mark these ones for experts. The high quality and for science particularly valuable articles will be strongly considered by "peer review".
Publications without peer review (non reviewed publications): In this section, articles are published which were submitted or recommended in writing by a peer as well as articles which have already passed a peer review at university.
These are, for example, studies, diploma and doctoral theses.
Non-peer reviewed publications which meet these requirements can be transferred to Reviewed Publications after a successful peer review.
