Abstract | This study explores the re-identification of industrial entities utilizing automated guided vehicles (AGVs). In particular, the focus of this publication rests on the detection and identification of Euro-pallets in warehousing environments. By implementing such systems for both ground-bound and aerial AGVs, the research analyzes the feasibility of real-time detection and identification of Euro-pallets. The preliminary findings of this study highlight the potential of such mobile, dynamic re-identification system, which may enhance warehousing processes in the future. Current limitations, such as system reliability and transmission protocols, are explored and discussed as well. |
