Abstract | Due to the increasing digitalization of supply chain processes, Industry 4.0 offers enormous innovation potential for companies and their partners. The use of Cyber-Physical Systems provides the necessary prerequisites for flexible planning and control of supply chains. However, the development of such systems represents a major challenge for companies. The paper proposes a morphological box for the design of Cyber-Physical Systems regarding the planning and control of supply chain processes. Its applicability is presented in two use cases of a German steel company. |
